Literature Review: Topic Paper Assignment Instructions
Overview

This course will require you to research and write a comprehensive literature review based upon a course-related topic of your choice. The final version of that paper (the Literature Review Paper) will be due by the last day of the class and the instructions are posted in the Course Content area.

Carefully review the guidelines for this paper prior to submitting your topic. The final paper is a time-consuming process that will require significant research and writing. Therefore, it is important to choose a relevant topic early in the course to allow sufficient time to spread this work over the next six weeks. You must choose a topic relevant to the study of leading and managing teams, relating to concepts presented in this course.

You will spend several weeks working on the Literature Review Paper, so you are encouraged to take some time to consider something that sparks your interest and may be applicable to your current or desired career field.

Instructions

The paper must contain the following components:
A 1–2-page overview (excluding the title and references pages) of your chosen topic.
A 1–2-page rationale for the relevance of your topic, directly addressing concepts relative to leading highly effective teams.

Adherence to APA formatting to include references. There is no required minimum number of references, but it is expected that you will review and integrate some preliminary sources for this topic paper.
Once you have received feedback and approval from the course instructor, you are encouraged to begin working on this paper.
